Typecast
Identity, collateral and promotional design for Typecast: an AIGA conference based on all things typography related. The fictional event focused on traditional practices of type design as well as modern applications. The imagery consisted of mixed letterforms, focusing on type from the letterpress. The overall feel of the conference played off the metaphor of type as actors in a play. This “play” is one where “you”—the designer—direct. An actual letterpressed invitation was packaged in a rectangular box.
